Body Treatments

KORE is a ground-breaking treatment & assessment system specialising in finding and treating the underlying root cause to many conditions, creating an improvement even in the most chronic conditions. Treatment is fully clothed with your shoes removed. If cupping therapy is recommended, then only the areas to be cupped will be exposed. If Anmo Fu (abdominal massage) is recommended, then only your abdominal region will be exposed.
I recommend you wear comfortable clothing which consists of separate top and bottom should you require cupping or Anmo Fu.

Proven to be extremely successful in treating numerous types of pain, this treatment delivers immediate and highly effective results. Semi-permanent needles are placed in the ear to provide fast pain relief and are left in place for 3–4 days.
Battlefield Acupuncture was developed in 2001 by Richard Niemtzow of the US Air Force, who created an auricular therapy protocol designed to deliver substantial pain relief quickly and effectively in combat situations where time is critical.
It can be beneficial for back and neck pain, acute trauma, and has also been known to produce good results for people with fibromyalgia. This treatment is intended for pain relief only. If there are any underlying issues, further intervention may be required; however, it can provide immediate pain relief to support ongoing treatment.

Hair Removal / Skin Lesions

Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal treatment. A very fine needle is inserted into the hair follicle under the surface of the skin. An electric current (heat) moves down the needle to the bottom of the follicle, destroying the hair root. The number of sessions needed to achieve permanent hair removal differs from person to person. It is dependent on the area being treated, hair type, & hair growth cycle.
Side Effects
Side effects such as redness and swelling will dissipate within 20 minutes to a couple of hours. Some people with sensitive skin may have a little longer healing time.
Aftercare advice?
Avoid sun exposure for 24-48 hours after treatment and the use of tanning products on the area.
If treating underarms, do not use deodorant for 24 hours.
For electrolysis on the face, try not to apply make-up for at least 24 hours. and wear an SPF50

Advanced electrolysis is a specialist skin treatment that can be used to remove a variety of cosmetic skin imperfections quickly and efficiently. A sterilised and disposable probe is used to cauterise the blemish producing a heat effect causing the structure and its content to coagulate or dry up when applied to the blemish.
Skin Tags, Telangiecstasia (Thread Veins), Spider Naevi, Campbell De Morgan Spots/Cherry Angiomas (blood spots), Age spots, Milia, Verrucas, Warts, Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra, Molluscum Contagiosum, Seborrheic Keratosis (Seborrehic Warts), Sebaceous cysts, Syringomas, Sebaceous Hyperplasia, Verruca’s, Warts, Xanthomas.
Pre Treatment Advice:
Hydrate & Moisturise, ensure you drink plenty of water leading up to your treatment and for the course of your treatment sessions. Ensure you keep the treated area moisturised for best results.
Try and avoid chocolate, caffeine & alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment to prevent dehydration
Exfoliate skin 7 days prior to treatment.
If you have any health conditions that impact your skin, heart, blood or hair growth then you should consult your GP first.
It is advisable to apply SPF50 at least two weeks prior to treatment and post treatment as this will help the healing process.
If you are going on holiday then you will be required to have the treatment at least 4 weeks before you travel or wait until your return. The total healing process takes approximately 4-6 weeks, sun/sea/sea salt/chlorine may hinder healing.
DO NOT:
Use any Retinoids. Stop using any product that contain Retinol, Retinoids or Vitamin A at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Clog Pores. Refrain from applying make-up, deodorants or any other products that may block the pores of the area being treated.
Expose yourself to sun. Stay out of the sun for at least 48 hours prior to an electrolysis treatment to avoid dilation of the blood vessels.
